Is the property a house or a unit?
A unit is subdivided property in a strata title scheme, such as a townhouse or an apartment.
The seller is required to provide the buyer with a Form 28 Disclosure Statement, including a Form 29 (Buying and Selling a Strata Titled Lot), BEFORE an offer to purchase is made, and BEFORE a contract for sale is signed. You must attach these forms to this Agreement.
Note: If the unit plan is unregistered at the date of contract, the seller must give the buyer a Section 119 (Unit Title) Certificate, at the buyer’s expense, at least 7 days before completion.
