Terms and Conditions
The following are the terms and conditions for use (the "Terms")
of this site and all documents found at LawDepot™ (the "Site").
Please read the Terms carefully before using the service.
1. Acceptance
By using the Site and any documents found in this Site, you agree to be
bound by the Terms without any modification of the Terms. If you do not
agree with the Terms then you are not authorized to use this Site.
2. Nature of the Service
The user of the Site acknowledges that nothing at LawDepot™ is intended
to, or constitutes the practice of law or the giving of legal advice.
The Site provides general legal information over the Internet. LawDepot™
is not a law firm and cannot give legal advice. Use of the Site or any
documents found in the Site does not create a solicitor-client relationship
between LawDepot™ or any employee of or any other person associated
with LawDepot™ and the user of the Site. This paragraph does not
apply to any specific situation on the Site where it has been expressly
stated that we are able to provide legal advise. Any referral by LawDepot.com
to a lawyer capable of practicing in your legal jurisdiction will not
create a solicitor-client relationship between LawDepot.com and the user
of the Site.
3. Disclaimer as to Service
While we have taken reasonable care in the preparation of the documents
and information contained on the Site, we cannot represent or guarantee
that the information on the Site or any site linked to the Site is accurate,
up to date, or appropriate for your specific situation. Further, as the
law differs in each legal jurisdiction and may be interpreted or applied
differently depending on your location or situation, the information or
use of documents on the Site is not a substitute for the advice of a lawyer.
4. Use of Documents
LawDepot™ DOES NOT transfer to you title to any tangible copy, or
original, of the documents or any other content on the Site. All ownership
and copyright in the documents and content in the Site belong solely to
LawDepot™. All contents of the Site are copyright: © Sequiter

You may not sell, give away, modify,
copy, create derivative works from, transfer, license, reproduce, publish,
or re-publish or lend any of the documents or information contained in
the Site. You do not have any rights in the contract creation services on this site
except as otherwise expressed.
If you copy, save, print or otherwise use a document created by our contract
creation service, you must have at least purchased a single use license. With
this license, you can use our document creation process for a period of one
week to make changes to the document as long as you only actually use one
version of the documents. You may not sell, copy, give away or otherwise
distribute this document. All other rights to the documents are specifically
reserved.
If you wish to create several contracts of the same type or you wish to use
one created contract for several transactions, you must purchase a multiple
use license for our contract creation service. The multi use license entitles
you to use our document creation process for this document for one month. You
may modify and copy this document for more than one transaction for your own
use. You may not sell, copy, give away or otherwise distribute these document
to a party other than yourself and your immediate family. All other rights to
the documents are specifically reserved.
5. Client Privacy
LawDepot™ does not share customer information of any kind with anyone.
We will not sell or rent your name or personal information to any third
party. We DO NOT sell, rent or provide outside access to our mailing list.
LawDepot™ only collects such personal information that is necessary
for you to access and use our services. This personal information includes,
but is not limited to, first and last name, physical address, zip code,
email address, phone number, social security number, birth date, credit
card information, financial information, loan information, vehicle information,
marital information, and other personal information necessary to generate
proper legal documents.
LawDepot™ may release such personal information if LawDepot™
is required to by law, search warrant, subpoena or court order.
We may also use personal information in a manner that does not identify
you specifically nor allow you to be contacted but does identify certain
criteria about our site's users in general (such as we may inform third
parties about the number of registered users, number of unique visitors,
and the pages most frequently browsed).
6. Use of Corporate Names
LawDepot™ assumes no liability for the use of any corporate name
submitted by a user. The user assumes all responsibility for any risk
of confusion with or infringement of the rights of any holders of existing
corporate names and trademarks. The user is responsible for ensuring the
use of any corporate name submitted by them is done so in compliance with
the appropriate laws and regulations.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
LawDepot™ provides general legal information and document services
over the Internet including information and links to content from third
parties. LawDepot™ does not control or assume responsibility for
any information, products or services offered by these third parties.
LawDepot™ expressly disclaims all representations, warranties or
conditions, express or implied, regarding the legal or other consequences
that may result from the use of our service or documents or those of any
other linked site. We are not responsible for any loss, injury, claim,
liability, or damage ("damages") related to your use of the
site, whether from errors or omissions in the content of this site or
any other linked sites. Further we are not responsible for any damages
from this site being inaccessible to the user. Use of this site is your
own risk.
LawDepot™ does not represent or warrant that the Site, its server
or any linked sites are free of viruses or other harmful materials. Lastly,
LawDepot™ relies solely on the information provided by you without
independent verification.
8. Indemnification
The user agrees to indemnify and hold LawDepot™, its directors,
officers and employees, harmless from any claim, demand, or damage, including
legal fees, asserted by any third party due to or arising out of the user's
use of or conduct on the Site.
9. Modification to Terms and Conditions
of Service
LawDepot™ reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions
of Service or policies regarding the use of the Site at any time and to
notify you by revising or posting updates on the Site.
10. Enforcement
If a court or any other body having the power to rule on disputes decides
that any part of the Terms or the Site's disclaimer is not reasonable
or cannot be enforced for any reason, this decision will not affect the
validity of the remainder of the Terms and Disclaimer which will continue
to be in full force and effect.
11. Governing Law
The Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta in the Dominion
of Canada. Any user of the Site consents to the non-exclusive jurisdiction
of the courts of the Province of Alberta in the Dominion of Canada in
all matters arising or relating to the use of the Site. Use of the Site
is not authorized in any legal jurisdiction that would not give full effect
to the Terms or where the use or provision of the services in the Site
is against any law in that jurisdiction.
