(e.g. removed and rebuilt the stairs to my frontdoor of my house at 12345-67 Street, SomeCity, SomeState.)

Complaint Details

Service wasn't properly performed: e.g. The stairs were supposed to have a 7 inch riser, but the contractor built the stairs crooked with 11 inch risers. He also didn't properly support the landing structure. The materials the contractor used were supposed to be treated fir, but he used untreated spruce.

Billed the wrong amount: e.g. I was charged $3022.00 for the removal and restoration of my front stairs for my house, but the quote was $2022.00.

Misrepresentation as to features or fitness for my purpose: e.g. The contractor was supposed to rebuild my stairs with a side ramp so a person in a standard wheelchair could use it. The ramp is too narrow for a person in a standard wheelchair to use it.
